"It matters what matters we use to think other matters with; it matters what stories we tell to tell other stories with; ti maters what knots knot knots, what thoughts think thoughts, what descriptions describe descriptions, what ties tie ties. tI matters what stories make worlds, what worlds make stories."
Donna .J Haraway, Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene
The Stories of Another tomorrow is a retreat on transformative leadership, with a focus on growing language and new narratives and on restoring the connections between the individual and the systems of all living things. With each participants’ experiences and desires as the focus, a variety of tools is provided to explore alternative ways to probe and imagine pains and possibilities and pour that into stories.
The first edition of the retreat has taken place at Villa Melara in Italy, in October 2024, designed and curated by Ambra Trotto and Pernilla Glaser.
“Here is where we come together to see ourselves. Here is where we let the silence bring us closer to the words and let ourselves be found by our longings and dreams. Here is how we weave stories to hold us, to nurture us and support us, through what we know and what is still waiting in the dark for us.” Pernilla Glaser
