Maria Claudia Coppola

Research fellow at CRICC - Research Center for Interaction with Cultural and Creative industries (University of Bologna), and guest researcher at RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden, Maria Claudia is working on her doctoral research titled “The Shapes of Trust”, an inquiry on weaving ecologies of relationships through design-driven and trans-sectorial decision-making processes. Building on / by taking the perspective of the body of research of Design for Transforming Practices, she plays mainly with relational thinking and participatory processes, prototyping conversational arrangements where aesthetic engagement invites embodied sense-making.

Her research journey bloomed after encountering d.centre | EU, where she is currently contributing as a researcher and designer. She is also team member of the Strategic Topic Group “Design for Societal Transformation” within EIT Culture & Creativity.
